In Phase 1 of this project CWI were challenged with removing the existing decking and promenade tiles on the existing terraces and carrying out a contract design proposal to ensure a water tight waterproofing system added to the existing felt system and provide a terrace to be used by office staff to the very high standard of the building.
CWI Supplied a contract design proposal to apply the Triflex BBS System along with an added 50mm DOW X-Energy ”A” Rated Inverted roof insulation to create the required U Value. Then On top the insulation we secured new Wallbarn adjustable support pads ranging from 30mm – 110mm as the existing levels had extreme falls into existing gullies. To the supports we secured new 600mm x 200mm x 25mm natural granite pavers to create the high standard finish required. This project as all Triflex projects are, was constantly monitored and a support specification created to ensure warranty security.
CWI Completed all works before programme along with all E/O works requested by the client whilst onsite involving weathering new & old plant details. Now a 20 year insurance backed warranty is in place on the terraces leaving all concerned with peace of mind that another quality installation has been carried out by CWI.
